As I went around the house I wanted to capture the places that would not normally get attention. I wanted to view the house how the people would have viewed it. I took time in filming those areas. When I come to edit the film I want to demonstrate those areas more than others. I took notice in the personal items that made it special to the people. Such as slippers and uniforms.

There was an artist who lived here, and I wanted to capture that. But I felt as though it was too set up and I may not use this footage for the film as it is not the way I want the house to be represented.

I wanted to capture light in the scenes like Zarina Bhimji's film "Yellow patch". I looked for areas of light, the windows are an obvious source. But I think the atmosphere is very strange in this image.
